Blackberry the Badger Amigurumi
You can make this cute and friendly badger in two versions, either with or without a warm sweater.
Materials:
Use double knitting (DK) weight yarn. Worsted weight yarn is a little thicker than DK but can easily be substituted and the pattern will still be in proportion, though you may need to use a little more and go up a hook size.
If you can find a yarn that has at least some wool or alpaca fibre in it, it will give a nice natural effect.
Charcoal (dark grey) or black yarn, approx 50g.
Grey yarn, approx 50g.
Cream or white yarn, approx 25g.
Yarn for sweater, approx 30g (reduce grey yarn to approx 20g).
Small amount of black yarn for nose if using charcoal yarn.
Stuffing.
1 pair 12 mm brown safety eyes.
Tapestry needle.
3.5mm hook (US E hook).
Finished size approximately 28 cm (11”) tall.
