Birregurra is a small, thriving town located near the Otway Ranges, and is inland from the Great Ocean Road. Birre, as it is affectionately known, has a thriving arts community and is proudly the home of Brae Restaurant.
Sizes: Child (48cm), Small Adult (54cm), Large Adult (60cm)
Yarn: 8ply/DK weight Tarndie yarn (175m/100g)

Colour B – 30gm (1.07oz)
Colour C – 100gm (3.5oz)

Needles: 3.5mm (US4) and 4.0mm (US6) circular needles

Notions: stitch markers, darning needle for sewing in ends, balloon or suitable item to block your beanie
Gauge: 22sts/10cm (4 inches) on 4.00mm (US6)
Pattern notes: birre is a fitted unisex beanie knit in the round.
The pattern is written for DK weight yarn, in 3 sizes and written for both a fitted crown, and a slouch version.
birre starts at the brim, and works up to the crown with a simple colour work motif between the colour transitions.
