Bias Neckwarmer and Scarf 003
Knitting on the bias is a great technique that is really easy to do. Knitting like this means you can use ANY YARN to knit either this scarf or neckwarmer, from thin to thick, commercial or handspun. They are worked in garter stitch using two yarns with a frothy seaweed edging; the neck warmer has a button fastening.
Finished Sizes
Neck warmer is 37.5cm (15in) long when fastened,
Scarf is 150cm (60in) long
Stitches used
Cast on, garter stitch (knit every row), decreasing - k2tog, k2tog tbl, sl1-k2tog-psso (diagrams), increasing - knit into front and back of stitch (diagram), picking up stitches (diagram).
