This 5x5 inch square works up in about 30-40 minutes. It would look lovely on it’s own as a mounted home decor piece. You could also make some out of cotton yarn for a beautiful coaster set or, crochet a whole bunch to make a blanket. There are endless possibilities with motifs and I hope you’ll feel inspired to make your own.

Originally written and made using bulky weight yarn, as of March 22, 2023 this pattern has received a refreshing update made with worsted weight.

Materials Needed:

• 3 colours of worsted weight yarn (acrylic or cotton is fine). I used WeCrochet Brava in the following colourways: “Lady Slipper” (colour A, 7 yards), “Rouge” (colour B, 10 yards) and “Cornflower” (colour C, 10 yards)
• 5mm hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
