Belle
Add some romance and elegance to a typical day by layering your outfit with this open front cropped lace cardigan !
Belle is worked flat (back and forth)from the top down with raglan shaping and is practically seamless. A circular needle is used to
accommodate the large number of stitches. I would suggest using a different colored marker for BOR.
Note: This pattern requires the knitter to work from a chart.
Finished Bust Measurements: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50 )”/76 ( 86, 97, 107,117, 127)cm.
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch with larger needle.
Materials:
Fingering weight yarn that gives recommended gauge:
MC: Approximate yards: 550 (570, 600, 600, 700, 700, 850)yards
CC: Approximate yards: 60 ( 60, 80, 100, 100, 150)yards
Needles:
One each 16” and 29” circular needle size US 5 (3.75 mm) and a set of 5 dpn { for body and sleeves}.
One 29” circular needle size US 4 (3.50 mm) and a set of 5 dpn{ for lace edging }.
One 29” circular needle size US 3 (3.25 mm) and a set of 5 dpn{ for lace edging }.
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
Crochet Hook:
C/2 - 2.75 mm
Notions:
Stitch markers(m), as needed. One of different color to denote for BOR.
Large stitch holders or waste yarn.
Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
