Belladonna Shawl
by ash alberg
A collaboration between Ash Alberg and Circle of Stitches! 20% of proceeds will be donated to the Loveland Foundation.
a mandatory addition to any poison plant garden, belladonna is the queen of the roost. known perhaps more commonly as “deadly nightshade”, this flowering berry plant is a relative of some favourite edibles like tomato and eggplant. the dark berries have a sordid history, but what infamous plant doesn’t?
classic all-over lace makes up the body of this giant shawl, with an easy garter border to tie everything together. simple enough for social knitting or that much-needed relaxing wip, this shawl will become a fast favourite.
