Bejeweled is designed to be a cross between a cowl and a necklace. It gives a little accent to your winter outfits. It is fun to choose the beads. You can use it as a cowl or even pull it up on your head as a headband.

It comes in 4 sizes. Measurements are given in both centimeters and inches.

Lace weight mohair yarn + fingering weight = DK

This cowl is worked with both yarns held together.

Needles

4 mm / US 6 circular needle of length 40 cm / 16 inches; adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

5 mm / US 8 needle (any type), for binding off.

Notions

A strand of beads or pearls about 60 (60, 70, 75) cm / 24 (24, 28, 30) inches long; sewing or beading needle; yarn needle

Gauge

17 sts and 42 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch worked in the round with two strands held together on 4 mm / US 6 needle, blocked

Sizes

Size S (M, L, XL)

• Size S is designed to fit a neck circumference of 31.5 cm / 12.5 inches.

• Size M is the same as size S at the bottom but wider at the top so that it is easier to pull it over your head.

• Size L is designed to fit a neck circumference of 38 cm / 15 inches.

• Size XL is designed to fit a neck circumference of 44.5 cm / 17.5 inches.

Shown in Size S, model neck’s circumference is 31.5 cm / 12.5 inches.

If you plan to use it as a headband, choose size S or M.
