I love the soothing, repetitive motions of making granny squares. This rectangular shawl uses a variation on the traditional granny square pattern. It’s easy to adapt the pattern to your favorite size. The stitch pattern allows for a bit of air flow so you don’t get too hot when wearing it.

Adult: 14” (35.5 cm) spine x 62.5” (159 cm) wingspan (after blocking).
Materials
Cloudborn Superwash Merino Worsted Twist yarn (100% superwash Merino wool, 3.5 oz/100 g/221 yd/202 m) – 2 skeins ea in 14-013 Sky Blue (CA), 14-018 Ocean (CB), and 14-002 Taupe Heather (CC), or approximately 336 yd (307 m) in ea of 3 colors in any medium weight yarn.
US Size I-9/5.5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Yarn needle.
Gauge
1 panel = 14” (35.5 cm) x 19.5” (49.5 cm) after blocking. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern.
