A classic beanie shape in 2 color brioche knitting technique with an attractive “baroque” fabric. If this sweet mystery is challenging, you have a written pattern stitch by stitch (in English) with chart, photo & video tutorials for important stitches. This hat is made in the round, from the bottom up. Plus - you can make neck warmer too 

You need:
1. Skills: Intermediate 2 color brioche knitting knowledge; knitting in the round;
2. Needles:
* 16” (40cm) circular needle in US 4/3,5mm, end don’t knit to loose;
* US 4/3,5mm DPN’s (4+1 double pointed needles);
* cable needle (or wooden DPN);
* a hook US 4/3,5mm;
* (2) tapestry needle(s) for weaving in ends;
3. Yarn: You need 2 balls (1 light, 1 dark) sport (5-8 ply) or DK weight woolen yarn, no thicker then 100g/280m (~307 yds) in favorite color combination; Red&black hat on photos - normal women’s size (XL), for head circumference 56-59cm / 22,4”-23,6” (1cm=2,5”) is made with approx. 2x60gr Alize superlana klasik
( 280m ~ 307yds/100gr) woolen yarn;
4. Clover locking stitch markers – 4 pcs.
