The finished size and shape of this bag will depend entirely on the yarn you choose, since all yarns felt slightly differently.

You can use a single strand of worsted weight, (400 yds. and size 10.5 needle)

a double strand of worsted with a larger needle, (850 yds. and size 13 needle)

or a single strand of bulky. (500 yds. and size 13 needle)

ERRATA Some patterns purchased between 12-3-08 and 2-1-09 may have an error in line 87. It should read:

Row 87: K15, CO 10, K6, CO 10, K15. Repeat. (You are casting on to your right needle. Use “backward loop” cast on, or turn work around and use a “knit on” method so your yarn will be in the correct position to continue this row.)
