This unisex, super bulky and super textured beanie is reversible, with two subtly different sides.

It’s worked from the top down in joined rounds.

The Ava & Otto hat can be made in super bulky yarn, or a yarn mix -- two or more strands of yarn held together -- that meets the pattern gauge.

NOTE: For my yarn mix hat, I used Vanna’s Choice in Olive, Lion Brand Fishermen’s Wool in Brown Heather and Lion Brand Landscapes in Desert Spring, with one strand of each yarn equal to the super bulky weight yardage.
