MATERIALS
Medium weight yarn in off-white, a natural heather color, yellow, and orange
Yardage: about 65 yards of off-white,
about 5 yards of the natural heather (I used Fisherman’s Wool in Brown Heather),
small amounts of yellow and orange (I used Lion Brand Landscapes in Mustard and
Pumpkin)
Crochet hooks 7/4.50mm and D/3.25mm
Water soluble marking pencil (optional)
12” wood dowel
Yarn needle

HOW IT IS WORKED
Medium weight yarn is used to create the blank canvas on which the art is worked, a simple rectangle of half double crochet. The embellishments are made with more unique yarns, surface crocheted and embroidered. Wool tassels and a wooden dowel finish off the natural feel of this easy, autumn piece.
