Argos Stranded Shawlette
ARGOS PANOPTES was a mythological, hundred-eyed giant. When Argos was slain, Hera immortalized him by placing his hundred eyes on the tail of her sacred peacock. Argos, the shawlette is a stranded piece that can eb made larger for a full-sized shawl…just keep the body pattern going before adding the edging color. The pattern calls for a #9 needle, but you can easily move up to a 10.5 for a larger piece. This has received lots of compliments and looks great when worn with a shawl pin. I never thought colorwork purling could be such fun!
