Appalachian Toque
This is an excellent pattern for a man’s toque, but it can certainly be made for any gender. It has a unique look with the striping and trinity stitch. It is a little more challenging than the Appalachian Scarf or Cowl, as the trinity stitch in the round does require some concentration until you get the hang of it. Pattern is worked in rounds from the top down and the border is worked perpendicular to toque.
The yarn provides a comforting tweed and solid stripe look that will match many sweaters and jackets from fall to spring. Pair it with the Appalachian Scarf for a complete look.
