This has got to be one of the creepiest looking fish with all it’s teeth and bobbly eyes, it is like something from a horror film.

He has a lore dangling down on his head that he dangles just above his jaws, and when a smaller fish is tricked into thinking the lore is a tasty morsel to eat, he himself becomes the tasty morsel.

I have designed the angler fish in what I thought looked to be spooky looking colours. The main part of the cosy is knitted in a lumpy stitch that adds to his ugliness.

The fins and tail are knitted separately and sewn on afterwards.

It’s a 6 page knitting pattern that is easy to follow.

The angler fish tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
