Ananda Yoga Mat Tote Bag
Ananda is the Sanskrit word meaning ‘harmony’ and ‘bliss’. As knitting has been described as the new yoga through its repetitive rhythm and the meditative state it induces, this is an excellent opportunity to creatively connect the two disciplines with the practicality of a yoga mat tote bag.
The bag is knit it the round and features a drawstring closure and knitted handle. Once completed, it’s then felted to add density and stability to the fabric so the tote bag doesn’t ‘sag’ with the weight of the yoga mat.
