Amikoj is a triangle shaped shawl, knitted from the top down. It starts with a tiny garter stitch foundation triangle. Pattern for the stockinette part is written only; the lace part is charted only, with additional instructions for each chart.

It is possible to enlarge the stockinette part to adjust size to personal preference. How to do is mentioned in the instructions.

The origin is worked from handspun wool yarn with a yardage of about 615 m / 562 yd, 105g. I wanted to use up as much as possible and used about 585 m / 639 yd, using a 3,75 mm / US 5 knitting needle.
If using industrial yarn a heavy lace weight yarn with about 600 m / 548 yd, 100 g should work fine. If using fingering weight the needed amount as well as the size of the finished shawl will increase.

The pattern is tested (testing thread is here) and I thank all the wonderful test knitters for their great work and support! See all the beautiful shawls from the test on the left!
