Amigurumi Johnny Bear
The amigurumi is fast and easy to make and will make any children happy.
The pattern is written in English, using American crochet terminology, and includes US/UK conversion charts for both stitches and hook sizes.
It is full of hints, tips and photos that help you along the way.
For beginners instructions of basic crochet stitches are provided.
The bear requires minimal sewing. It is crocheted in one piece starting from the feet up to the head. Only ears, muzzle, tail and eyes are sewed on.
The pair of pants are removable.
Difficulty Level: intermediate for construction of the bear
Skills required are sl st, sc, hdc, tr, BLO sc, increase/decrease sts, change color.
Finished Size: if done with cotton fingering-weight yarn (4 ply), 2.5mm hook, it is 26cm (10.1”) high and 10cm (3.9”) wide w/o arms. This may vary depending on the yarn and hook size you decide to use.
