Inspired by the grey mountain skyline of Alaskan winter, Ritual Dyes created a beautiful palette for this design collaboration! A gradient set of 4 colors paired with a pop color in fuzzy, cozy mohair make this a really fun and special knit!
This sweater is designed to fit with 4-8” 10-20.5 cm of
positive ease at the bust and 0-1.25” 0-3 cm of positive
ease at the sleeves. A size chart is included in the pattern to help you choose the correct size for you.
Kits are available from Ritual Dyes!

Color Suggestion- to achieve a similar look to the
original design, choose a gradient of 4 colors for C1-C4,
and a contrasting pop color for C5. In the original
sample C5 is worked in fingering weight mohair, but
you can substitute the mohair and knit with yarn that is
the same fiber content/structure as the other colors if
preferred. C1-C4 are ordered from lightest to darkest.
Colors:
C1: Mountains (white)
C2: Give (light grey)
C3: Way (medium grey)
C4: To The (dark grey)
C5: Sun (orange mohair)

Needles
Note- needle size is suggested, you may need to go up or
down a needle size (or 2!) depending on your knitting
style. Some knitters need to go up a needle size for
colorwork to maintain gauge, but not all do. See notes on
gauge for more information.
Ribbing Needle: US 2/ 2.75 mm
Main Needle: US 4/ 3.5 mm
Colorwork Needle (optional): US 6/ 4 mm
Gauge over 4” 10 cm: 22 sts and 30 rounds in
colorwork after blocking
Note! Gauge is very important in achieving the desired fit of
a sweater! You may need to change needle size to achieve
the desired gauge. I recommend swatching 10-15 rounds in
plain stockinette and the first 14 rounds of Chart B (on
page x) in order to determine the proper needle size for you.
Sizes:
