These fun little characters make quick knitting projects that are out of this world! The green Alien and grey Robot each have simple body shapes, and the arms and wheels are knitted separately and sewn on. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than a 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, plus beads and buttons to finish.

SIZES
One size only - Alien is 14cm tall and Robot 11cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
