Acorn Button Wrap
It’s a shrug! It’s a poncho! It’s a wrap! It’s a caplet! This convertible cozy-maker is perfect to bundle up for a woodland walk. It is worked in corner-to-corner crochet technique (diagonal rows, like entrelac) and it is remarkably intuitive and flies off the hook. I have added buttonholes on each side so that you can wear it many different ways to suit your mood. I used mix-matched buttons (vintage selection from my grandmother’s stash), but whether you make this prim and proper or a bit eclectic, put your spin on it to make it your own.
Have fun trying out the different ways of wearing it - and make sure to take a picture and show us your favorite!
It is available in small, medium or large sizes. You’ll need 3-4 skeins of DK yarn, 8 buttons and a darning needle for assembly. I used a gradient yarn to accentuate the diagonal rows.
