FINISHED SIZE:

• length of the toy along with the ring is ~4-4.4” (10-11 cm)
• diameter of the acorn is ~21.6” (4 cm).

I used 2.5 mm hook and:

• YarnArt JEANS, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic; 160 m/50g
• Alize Cotton Gold, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic; 330 m/100g
• Gazzal Jeans, 58% cotton, 42% acrylic; 170 m/50g
• YarnArt Denim Washed, 70% cotton, 30% acrylic; 130 m/50g (melange colors)

You can use any yarn of the same yardage containing different fibers: wool, wool mix, acrylic, etc. You can use any leftover yarn you have in your stash. I will not refer you to specific colors of the yarn so you can let your imagination make the best of it.
