ac·crete /əˈkrēt/
verb:

  1. Grow by accumulation or coalescence.
  2. Form (a composite whole or collection of things) by gradual accumulation.

This sock contains stripes that accrete from the top to the bottom and contrasting strands that start as short diagonals and get longer and longer. It started as a concept for a simple striped sock and, uh, accreted a few features along the way. It features a knit-purl pattern as well as vertical stranding and simple cables. A fun and addictive knit, you may find yourself accreting several pairs!

Yarn Requirements
Yardage requirements may vary with size knit. Fingering weight yarn in the following amounts:
Color A: 60g
Color B: 100g
Color C: 15g

Color A and Color B should contrast enough to make discernible stripes. Color C should contrast strongly with both Color A and Color B.

As always, I am happy to support my knitters with any questions they may have. Just send me a private message on Ravelry or email me at completelyhookedknits at gmail dot com.
