I designed this hat for my husband’s great-niece and ended up loving the little birdies. Please note that the birds and flowers are a bit different for each size (Small child, Child and Adult) so be sure to follow the correct birdie graph. This is a great hat to use up some of the little balls of yarn that color work knitters accumulate! Substitute your own colors for the birdie or what have you. Put a little note in the pom pom using tiny alphabet beads. A little birdie named Lisa (not me) is the one who told me to get this pattern published. So here it is!
