I am an immigrant, who was raised by a seamstress mother and a father with the military background. My pattern writing and self-publishing knitting career began around 2003 while traveling the world in service of my spouse’s military career, but I got an understanding of basic clothing construction from an early age. Being a military wife, I had to learn how to adapt to relocating every 2 years and finding an occupation and a career that would be as fulfilling and something that one could do anywhere where military life brought us. Educated as a linguist and a teacher of English, I have been teaching knitting workshops across the US and Internationally for over 10 years.

Today I attempt to allure you with a unique knitting perspective and innovations! And I am forever grateful for having found the knitting world I have become a part of!

“olgajazzy” brand of independent knitwear patterns was established in 2006.
Innovative, versatile and born out of natural curiosity for geometry, architecture and textile explorations. All the while grounded in practicality of finished pieces and concentrating on enriching skills set of any knitter through these patterns.
