I have been knitting, designing and teaching for almost 50 years. A native New Yorker, I now live in the beautiful Pioneer Valley in western Massachusetts, with my family and cats, in an old Victorian house stuffed to the rafters with books and yarn and color. My grandmother and mother were amazingly talented with any form of needlecraft, and my father was an artist, so maybe I come by the passion genetically. I take a lot of inspiration from their work, and from vintage style and knitting in general.
