Hello. I’m Jane.

I am a knit and crochet designer based in Lincoln, UK. Designing projects that as are as much fun to make, as they are to wear is my focus.

With over 15 years experience of writing knitting patterns for the UK knitting magazines, I pride myself on well written easy to follow instructions.

I’ve designed patterns for a variety of publications, including The Knitter, Let’s Knit, Knit Now, Simply Knitting, Knit Today, Art of Knitting and Love Knitting for Baby. I’ve also produced mini collections for Scheepjes, King Cole and Eden Cottage Yarns.

I think I have one of the best jobs in the world. It has enabled me to meet lots of very talented crafters. Work with some fantastic yarn companies and even appear on live TV. That was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. Who knows, maybe one day I will get to do it again.

When I’m not designing you’ll find me knitting quietly in the corner of a comedy club, or enjoying live music (I usually leave the knitting at home in this case!)

I share my life with my husband, Doug, my three, now not so little children and my mini schnauzer Bertie.
