Since 2006 I have been known online as “firefly”, writer and creator of the lifestyle blog,
“I Live on a Farm”.

Over time my blog grew, and readers from around the world were very supportive of the evolution of my offerings, touching my heart with their friendly, loving, and loyal encouragement.

I sell my knitting patterns online and in independent yarn stores. You can find many of my currently available retail patterns as online downloads in my I Live on a Farm Etsy shop.

In 2015 I took a break from writing when my Indie yarn dyeing business, Lucky Violet Color Co, took off and there was no more time to write.

And now, ten years later, I have slowed things down some to relaunch my blog and begin a fun to knit to podcast, firefly’s Hatful of Yarns.

I still dye yarn and design knitting patterns, but I’m taking more time to relax and enjoy my life and my farm these days. I love sharing the peace and beauty I have found on this farm with my knitting and fiber loving friends via my blog and podcast.
