Courtney Kelley is the co-owner of Kelbourne Woolens. She graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2001 with a focus in Fiber and Material Studies, where her thesis piece was a six-foot hand-knitted traditional gansey. Her particular love is reading books about the history of knitting and re-creating vintage patterns from photographs and archives--a passion she rarely gets to fulfill in her day to day design work. She lives in Philadelphia.
