This stylish bag is created by working mitred squares and has oval wooden handles (alternative handles can be used). The mitred squares are joined as you work; and the bag can be made smaller or larger by working fewer or more squares.
This pattern is very comprehensive with photos to guide you.
Materials:
Schoppel Zauberperlen (4ply; 100% Merino Wool; 400m/437yds per 100g) x 1 set. Shown in shade: 2414
3.25mm (UK 10/US 3) knitting needles
Wooden or plastic handles - see page 2 for details of handles used in sample
1m/40in cotton fabric for lining
Fusible interfacing - optional (not used in sample)

Tension:
30 sts and 50 rows over 10cm/4in in Garter Stitch.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension will affect the final size and amount of yarn used.
