They are made using the TITR (Tunisian in the the round) technique, so you will need a double ended hook (4.0 mm), and prepare two strands of fingering weight yarn, preferably in contrasting colours to really (really) get your thought across, lol.

A knowledge of Tunisian crochet, and work in the round is an asset, the pattern uses TKS and TRS.

A colour work chart is included (for left hand and right hand). And there are always tutorial videos on my website to learn the basic stitches and how to work in the round.
