Charlie in the Box – Premium Crochet Pattern

Materials
• 50 g each – size 3 DK yarn in Periwinkle, Light Peach
• 35 g each – size 3 DK yarn in White, Red, Green, Navy Blue, Dark Pink
• Scrap amounts – Yellow, Black, White
• Crochet hook – 3.00 mm
• Yarn needle
• Fiber fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 × ¼-inch black buttons (ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years old)
• 6 × jingle bells (ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years old)
• 1 sheet of plastic mesh

Notes
• Charlie’s body, head, and hat are worked in one piece.
• Worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up – do not join unless instructed. Use a stitch marker to keep track of rounds.
• Arms, pompoms, jingle frill, chin, cheeks, nose, eyes, ears, and hat muff are made separately and sewn on.
• Stuff firmly, but not so full that the stuffing shows through stitches.
• Finished piece is approximately 12 inches tall.
• Buttons and jingle bells may only be used for eyes if the piece is intended for people over 3 years old.
